Is there any obligation after the initial consultation?

During our initial consultation, we discuss how our representation works. Meeting with us does not imply we are your lawyer. We do not represent anyone until they clearly understand the terms of engaging our law firm for legal advocacy and enter into a written contract with Klinger, Robinson & Ford, LLP.

Do you offer free consultations?

No. In some cases we may discount or waive the cost of an initial consultation. Unless the attorney with whom you are meeting with has told you in advance that your initial consultation is free, your consultation is subject to the attorney’s standard hourly rate for the time speaking with you. No staff members at Klinger, Robinson & Ford, LLP, have the authority to waive the attorney’s initial consultation fee.

How much do you charge?

Fee types, rates and retainers vary depending on the attorney and the complexity of your legal issue. Some services are subject to hourly billing, while others are subject to a flat fee. Your attorney will present an attorney fee contract that clearly describes the terms of representation, allowing you to make an informed choice about costs. You may ask the attorney to estimate a range of anticipated costs, but such estimates are not binding quotes.
